Looking for a unique and affordable hotel in Buenos Aires?

Looking for a unique and affordable boutique hotel in Buenos Aires? The 4-star Art Hotel is one of our recommended properties in Buenos Aires, one we often use in conjunction with our Buenos Aires Discovery tour ( http://www.latitudetours.com/pages/la-4-day-buenos-aires-discovery ). This is a wonderful tour that we tailor to the needs of the traveler-whether you have a week or just 3 nights in Buenos Aires, we can help craft your program around your interests and time frame.

The Art Hotel is one of our preferred properties since it such a good value for the experience: it features just 36 tastefully decorated, cozy rooms in a renovated mansion and active art gallery; a classic early 20th century elevator; and an outstanding location, only minutes walk from Recoleta and Retiro and a subway stop that can transport you to a whole host of key points in the city.

Lan South America Airpass

Looking for the best values for your inter-South America airline itinerary? The major Latin America airline, Lan, features a special airpass that can help you save money on your internal air if you book your international airfare with them. The first step is to book your US/Canada flight direct to a major South American city such as Buenos Aires, for example, through their booking engine, www.lan.com. Following your reservation, make sure you have your booking reference number handy and give the South America Airpass page a trial run, saving potentially hundreds of dollars on internal air. For a glimpse at the possible savings, check out this web page:

New Argentina Tourist Attraction Gets Your Head in the Clouds

I just learned that Argentina has re-opened a truly high-in-the-sky attraction that is one of a kind.

The Train to the Clouds, El Tren a las Nubes in Spanish, takes its passengers high into the Andes in the country's north — so high, in fact, that oxygen bottles are a feature in every carriage, to help those left lightheaded by the journey.

The train, which leaves the town of Salta for a 400-kilometer (250-mile) round trip into the South American mountain range, reaches an altitude normally reserved by helicopters.

If you're not afraid of heights and want this to be a destination on your next Argentina Tour, come visit us at Latitude World Tours, and let our experts help customize your next Latin American vacation.
